This document forms part of the Protection of Transport Assets project which includes a detailed salinity risk assessment of priority roads within the Avon River Basin. Approximately 7200km of regionally significant roads were identified through discussions with Main Roads WA and Local Government Authorities, this document (Part 1) includes assessment of the first 2000km of electromagnetic survey of regional priority roads in the Avon River Basin. The remaining 5200km will be presented in Parts 2 and 3 of the detailed risk assessment.
